Dear Derm: What’s The Deal With Botox & Fillers? Emily Didonato & Dr. Julie Russak

Today I am back with my personal dermatologist Dr. Julie Russak to continue with our Dear Derm series! In this video we are going to answer any and all of your lingering questions surrounding Botox and Fillers!

There is so much stigma around Botox and Fillers, and deciding if they are for you can seem really daunting and scary -so Dr. Russak and I wanted to break it all down for you!

I’m curious have any of you tried botox and/or filler? For those first timers were you hesitant or nervous? What made you decide to finally try it? Let me know in the comments below!
Dr. Russak really breaks down what the main differences between Botox and Filler are, as well as which are needed to target what specific areas and of the face and how. She also explains what is in each. For example, Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in our skin and did you know Filler has a ton of hyaluronic acid in it? Neither did I!


I’m also curious, in general do you guys worry about aging and fine lines? If you have a lot of expression lines, do they bother you or do you want to consider Botox/Filler as an option? Have you tried a more natural approach and failed? Would love to hear in the comments below!

I also learned of other uses for Botox that have nothing to do with vanity and aging, so be sure to watch to the very end to figure out what that use is!
