Should you buy the new XBox Series X|S headset? It’s a $99 product that looks more expensive. It has a subtle and easily tuckawayable mic. It boasts to have crystal clear voice chat and voice isolation technology that will make you feel as though your friends and enemies are right there with you, You don’t want to lose any information while gaming. The sound is supposed to be totally immersive, which is what the $4.99 earbuds at the gas station say, but the stellar commercial has legs, and I dare say we at The Gamer are open to the idea of buying a pair of these.

The design is quite creative, as you can rotate the earcups to change the volume. You’ve got your auto mute so when you’re not talking we don’t hear your breathing and things like that, and you’ve got your manual mute button for when you need a little extra privacy. They also look really good - I wouldn’t normally want to go out and flaunt a typical gamer headset at muscle beach or on the train, but these I would not be ashamed to wear anywhere.

Well, a hundred dollars isn’t nothing. Like Puff Daddy and The Family once told us - it’s all about the Benjamins baby. So let's take a look and see if the XBox Wireless headset that drops Tuesday, March 16th, 2021, is worth giving up one of our precious hundred dollar bills.
