Freedom is a state of mind,
Where fear and compulsion we leave behind.
To be truly free, we must be intelligent,
And understand our environment.

We must not be occupied with worries or problems,
But give our full attention to something beautiful, as the sun sets over the calm river bottom.
For in that moment, our mind is sensitive to beauty extraordinary,
And we can observe it with clarity.

To be free is to understand our influences and conformities,
And be willing to break free from those authorities.
We must not imitate or follow, but be ourselves,
And understand ourselves in relation to people, things, and ideas.

Intelligence is not something we can acquire,
But arises with great revolt and a sense of love, without fear.
So let us pursue this inquiry patiently and earnestly,
For freedom lies in our understanding of ourselves, truly.
