Through the ups and downs of life we go,
In search of growth, to learn and know,
Our faults and flaws, we must face,
To become the best version of our own race.

The journey of personal development,
Is one of great self-discovery and contentment,
For in understanding ourselves we find,
Our true potential, our peace of mind.

We must learn to balance our dark and light,
To keep our negative traits out of sight,
Suppressing the anger, envy, and pride,
To find true happiness and a life well-tied.

Love good, hate evil, the wise one said,
And in this battle of spirit, we must tread,
For the key to our lives is responsibility,
To ourselves and others, in unity and humility.

Cooperation and service, the path we must take,
To find the joy that comes from others' sake,
To help those in need, to lift them up high,
Is to grow and develop, and reach for the sky.

So let us look within and start anew,
With self-reflection, we'll find what's true,
The prejudices and criticism we must set aside,
To understand others and become more kind.

Personal development is a lifelong quest,
But in the journey, we find our best,
For in understanding ourselves, we can be,
The person we're meant to be, living happily.
