And now without question,
the number one pound for pound fighter in the world, 29-0, Khabib Nurmagomedov,
the world is in awe of your greatness once again, I will give you as much time to
gather your emotions but I see your cornerman taking your gloves off,
your thoughts on an epic championship performance tonight? Congratulations.
-Alhamdulillah, god give me everything.
Today I wanna say it was my last fight.
No way I'm gonna come here without my father,
it was first time when, after what happened with my father,
when UFC call me about Justin,
I talk to my father through my mother three days.
She don't wanna I go fight without father but I promised her
it's gonna be my last fight.
And if I give my word, I have to follow this.
It was my last fight here.
I know only one thing what I want from UFC Tuesday,
you guys have to put me on number one pound for pound fighter in the world
and because I deserve this.
One day, it's gonna happen something because
you never know what's gonna happen tomorrow, you never know it.
-It's nothing that's gonna break that guy.
What are you gonna do?
I just think there's nothing you can do. After going to Dagestan and seeing how those people live
and how their code and their values of how they live.
Well, just,
how strict
the faith is over there
and they tie in everything they do to their faith.
Sort of like how Ali was, "I'm not gonna lose because of Allah" and things like that.
And I truly believe that after seeing like,
just the comradery over there,
the gyms they train in, the mountains, everything that makes this guy,
there's nothing in the octagon that someone is gonna do.
Like this is gonna beat Khabib.
Like, everything can happen, a fluke can happen, we see it all the time.
But I just feel like mentally, there's nothing that's gonna break Khabib.
I feel like if he were ever in a situation where he had to tap, he wouldn't.
You would just have to put him to sleep.
Cause I just don't think that's possible.
Like to beat him, I honestly feel like Khabib can't lose.
Stay loyal all the time. With your team.
With your coaches.
With your like, everybody who close with you.
Sometimes like when you win belt,
with belt coming a lot of attention,
lot of money,
like crazy stuff, a lot of crazy stuff.
And I don't want this belt change me.
I wanna stay focused.
I wanna after Ramadan begin training and come back this year and defend this title.
I'm a little bit worried about this belt because sometime you think,
"oh, now, new UFC champion, lot of stuff,"
but I'm a little bit scared about this.
I don't wanna change.
I wanna be same Khabib like before and after belt.
And
this is not about me, this is about all people around me.
